Fast Facts: Nine-time World Karting Association national champion. Also winner of the prestigious O'Reilly Tunica national indoor dirt championship. Plans for 2008 are to compete in USAC Sprint Cars and Midgets on pavement along with some dirt races and PRA Big Car series

Plans for 2008: Jake will finish out 2007 with sprint car races at Orlando Florida's PRI race and Desoto Speedway in the Florida 400. He hopes to compete in USAC Sprint, Midget and Silver Crown competition in 2008

Career Highlights:

* 2007: 2 fast times and one win in USAC competition at Anderson Speedway. Finished 10th in his first time in the PRA Big Car Series at South Georgia Motorsports Park. Ran in the top 5 at Berlin Speedway and O'Reilly Raceway Park but flat right rears cost him a top 5 finish.

* Set fast time at the inaugural "Rumble in Columbus" USAC midget race in Columbus, Ohio. Finished 7th. Finished 9th at the "Rumble in Ft. Wayne" the month before.

* Won WKA National Championship and 3 runner-ups, never finishing out of the top 5 in 2006

* Won six World Karting Association national championships (ovals on dirt and asphalt) in 2005.  Champion of the following divisions: Briggs Junior Lite; Briggs Junior Heavy; Briggs Junior Animal Lite (twice in different series, one on the dirt and one on the asphalt); Briggs Junior Champ Lite and Briggs Junior Champ Heavy. Runner-up in five other classes. Won five WKA Grand National events in all. Won a heat race and finished tenth in his first USAC national midget race at the Fort Wayne Coliseum in December.

* 2004 WKA Grand National champion (Briggs Junior Lite); national champion in Junior Lite; runner-up in Junior Animal and Junior Heavy.  Won 10 Indiana pavement races in 12 starts to earn three state championships (Junior Lite, Junior Animal and Junior Heavy). Had 13 starts in USAC Kenyon midgets; had one victory and was never out of the top 10.

* 2004 Rumble in the RCA Dome go-kart winner in Junior Heavy division.

* 2003 Tunica (Miss.) national indoor dirt national winner (largest indoor go-kart race in the world with over 1,200 entries).  Also dominated local go-kart races in Indiana.

* First race was in 1996 at the age of six in a go-kart event at Ben Hur Speedway in Crawfordsville, Ind. Won all but one race that first year.

Personal: As of Dec., 2007, Jacob is a Senior at North Montgomery High School in Crawfordsville, Ind. Eldest son of Mark and Diane Wilson; one brother, Clinton, who also races. Enjoys helping in the family's screen-printing business, Kart Shirts.  Also enjoys video games, basketball and football.

Fast Facts:  Earned one World Karting Association national championship in 2006. Accomplished crew chief as well as a driver. Plans to compete in USAC Kenyon midget in 2007 at Indiana's Anderson Speedway, Mount Lawn Speedway, and Plymouth Speedway. Also attending Madison International raceway in Oregon, WI and Grundy County Speedway in Morris, IL.

Career Highlights:

* 2006: Won one World Karting Association national championship (Junior Champ Heavy) on oval pavement tracks. Had five starts in USAC Kenyon midgets at Anderson and South Bend: never finished outside the top ten. Crew chief for his brother Jacob's USAC Kenyon midget effort. Crew chief on brother Jacob's midget at indoor midget race at Fort Wayne, Ind and Columbus, Ohio.

* 2005: Won two World Karting Association national championships (Junior Two Lite and Heavy) on oval pavement tracks. Won one WKA Grand National event on an asphalt oval (Junior Sportsman Champ Heavy). WKA national runner-up in two classes: Junior Two Lite and Heavy (dirt ovals). Indiana dirt state champion in Junior Stock.  Had four starts in USAC Kenyon midgets at the Indianapolis Speedrome; never finished out of the top 10; his best finish was a sixth.   Crew chief for his brother Jacob's USAC Kenyon midget effort. Crew chief on brother Jacob's midget at indoor midget race at Fort Wayne, Ind.

* 2004: Ben Hur Speedway track champion in Junior Two division with seven victories in eight starts.  Finished third in the World Karting Association weekly racing series.  Competed in his first USAC Kenyon midget at the age of 12.

* 2003-2003: Earned 10 top-10 finishes in the World Karting Association. Also had four championships (12 poles and 10 victories) in the Indiana Divisional Series.  Championship came in the following classes: Junior One Lite and Heavy and Junior Two Lite and Heavy.  Finished second at Tunica, Miss. in the national indoor kart championship, the largest indoor karting race in the world.

* 2001: Won 16 races in 25 starts in regional go-kart events at Whiteland Raceway Park, Southern Indiana Racing Assn. and Ben Hur Speedway.

* 2000: Won Indiana State dirt championship.

* 1999: Won eight races in 20 starts.

* 1998: Won six races in 15 starts.

* 1997: Competed in first race at the age of five in a go-kart event at Ben Hur Speedway in Crawfordsville, Ind. Won four races in first 12 starts that year.
